The sink arrived and it was the right one. It fit. It was not chipped or cracked. The counters are completely in and the backsplash can now go up. The backsplash is tumbled slate. I love it.

This first photos is of the tile above the stove top. Small framed area on point with 5 smaller tiles for the "blink" effect.

Here are the photos of the backsplash installed before grout.

Also the baseboard and coat hooks and lots of other important but small minor details have been completed.

I'll have to make another post about the tv, speakers and all that makes up the electronic system so great.

I think I see the end in sight.
